The group finally reaches the source of the light. What they saw surprised them; Someone they know is being held by a hulking one armed robot, motionlessly staring at her. She soon notices them approach and was also surprised to see them here.
The Robot finished identifying the human. She was apparently reported Dead by the database. Meanwhile the group assumed the Robot is a threat and they opened fire.
A barrage of weapons fire pounds away at the robot's shield. Sarah takes cover behind its arm and holds on to dear life as the impact of each blast blows away at the surrounding dust and debris.
Red orders the others to stop firing and rescue Sarah. Green acknowledges Red's order. Purple doubts that the threat of the large robot has truly been neutralized.
The group finds the robot collapsed, and their friend, relatively unharmed by its side.

Alright so, I've been avoiding to add really hard on this jam for far too long. At first I thought I wouldn't be good enough. Then I thought the style was really out of my comfort zone. But I finally added a panel and I'm really glad that I did. This whole series is really cool and trying to copy the style was pretty fun! So if you're skipping this Jam because you too think you don't have what it takes, well... Why not give it a try? You might even surprise yourself. There's always the option of not submitting after starting if you're really scared of doing a crappy job. I'm sure there's people out there avoiding it too like I did.
Glad you had fun doing this. It turned out really well too. Thanks for making the effort. Truth be told I don't usually draw in this style so this is pretty experimental and a learning experience for me as well.
