Hey. listen. I can understand that you're sad or depressed. That's fine. We all are at some point. I understand that it's rough or heartbreaking to feel hated from people you don't even know irl. Take your time to feel better. No rush. But just know that the majority of us actually appreciate you being here. We don't usually make a lot of noises is all. I can't understand how you feel because we don't know each other, but do know that you never have to be sorry for liking something and sharing your excitement about it. Some people hate furries and they want them to die. Some people hate FNAF. Some people hate races. Some people will treat genders differently. That's a reality of life. Even if you stop drawing furries completely, some people are always going to be mean whatever you draw. Because hating on others is how they feel better, or because of whatever other reason they may have. You don't have to deal with them. It's not your job to figure out how they think. Just move on and pay attention to the people who appreciate you instead. You're really talented, i'm not gonna lie, and I do hope you don't give up on drawing whatever makes you happy. I'm sorry if i misread the situation, but regardless have fun and continue being you.

I tried to keep doing what I wanted for a time, but with comments saying "why", "not you again" and "hey furry man, among us is dead, it turned into cringe" , it gave me the impression that anything I did was bad / wrong, so it made me not want to draw certain things on here anymore. I don't know if it will stop forever - it might just be for a little while, but I just don't want to risk aggravating people further, if that makes sense. I've been targeted for plenty of things throughout the years, and I've just come to the point that I just wanna give up expressing myself publicly because apparently everything I've ever enjoyed has been deemed "cringe".

Sorry for being such a downer. I just really didn't know what to do or how to get my feelings out about what happened without being targeted again.

For now, I'll just stick to drawing my plague doctors, since they're more widely accepted.

So i stumbled upon this and i mean, i'm not sure how old this really is, since i just recently got to take peeks at this site after a longus time, and don't even know if my comment will even be any help or whatever haha!

But ehh... i'm gonna drop it here anyways.
@ByThePowerOfDUSKULL not sure how new to this place you are but there has been quite some dramas here and there actually, and it's not really new for people to be "criticized" like that. Altho this surely is rather new sort of... like i did all of a sudden noticed this whole "Cringe" thing more lately, and also more specificly there seems to be a more furry bashing then before! wasn't like that when i was first around, but maybe because the site was a little more under the scope, still is... but it certently seems to have gotten more... people i guess. But in all those instances people just made what they wanted, and everyone moved on, at worse people got banned, but it wasn't all that suprising, tho do know that it's not the first time these people join around just to call garbage on others, happends here, happends on EVERY SITE, tho more on sites that don't have all that much of a moderation saddly, also if we are talking of "rule" things then you ARE following them i mean atleast still giving a prompt and making and impecable neat drawings pretty much like in drawception is where i've seen you :^). the only rule that there pretty much is, is no low effort panels or derails, and you are cleeeeaaaarly clean on those two. it would be a shame loosing the likes of you to those people who may be struggeling with their own demons and the most "healthy" thing they can think of is downgrading others in a desperate attempt to distract themselfs of their own troubles, and well... we all know how problems can get the best of us, especially for those people out there with a low ammount of self esteem.
It's kinda sad to know that those people still get under the skin of artist such as yourself and block those creative expressions and even their skills all together in worse cases, have seen it happen in various occation.

But all in all i can't really offer all that good advice other then just say that you should simply not put mind to any of those people, and that you should never feel afraid of expressing yourself, okay publicly kinda depends IMO just what you WANT people to know about you should be okay, but idk, i guess people will say that no matter what you should be free to express yourself, so like yeah,
Go at your own pace, take your time to feel comfortable, like some NSFW artist that were around here that were all shy and stuff until they were like screw it 🤣, did some get hate? surely, but that didn't stop em'! (Also i think it's worth noting that NSFW can stand for violent things or crude humour too and so on making it so much more questionable/arguable to defend).

I just hope you can get to that point you just go for what you want outside of paneljam or in it! there is nothing more relieving than having that weight of worry lifted. but yeah, what @kawaita said, truly said it really good. especially the part of "pay attention to the people who appreciate you instead."

AND oh my can i relate to the things you said on the second comment.
But eh! It's good that you let your point of view out there, now we know how it makes you feel and prolly other artist too, that didn't adress it soon because they didn'T have the courage to do so.
