Almost had a close call ruining my progress due to the recolor tool. Hope I didn't made the story so far too convoluted with this panel that it discourages further follow ups. I'm quite invested on where this story goes to next.

And precisely like how Calia is clueless of certent things in that book and how she is doubtful, like the "prevent" part hah neat! could be a good reference point for later, If anything i feel like i may have given this one a very weird direction xD i had another way to take this, buuut... i dunno haha also yeah... the other tools can come with some weird glitches, still on sure how exactly the "fill"? one works? but i mean oh well- Glad it was just a close call!

Thanks, @Sluggishfella. Yours and are pretty cute. Yes, those were steps. Originally I had different methods in mind as you said but it morphed into a recipe/instruction type thing. Would it be better if I went with the former?

Either is good. Making it different methods means we get to the ritual sooner. Having steps means we can have fun adventures where she murders someone or kidnaps to get a vessel. It's simply a different choice in story telling, but they are both perfect.

Well whatever the case, if this freestyle ritual succeeds we will have Plushie Jake for the foreseeable future.

Also the fact that she doesn't follow the instructions correctly fits the story in my opinion haha

Ohoho but i'm thinking of a twist already! this migh've been too easy y'know what i mean? pff haha But yeah, i guess ya right kawaita! Ooof but i could see the story unwrapping on the original Seantrunks idea! It wouldn't turned a tad more darker! wich is always welcomed in my book, here i was thinking a bit more drama or even romantic i dunno. but yeah as for the last panel i was constantly drawing Calia fainting, while Plushie jake was there confused to move on to problemo two, and some filler, But yeah, for now i'm lacking a little inspiration to draw a good panel! Don't want to make something too lazy at this hights! But yeah might try again-

@Sluggishfella sounds good! Take all the time you need my friend! I was thinking of adding consequences of her rushed ritual too! Here's a list I had in mind: Calia getting wounded, Calia being transported in the plushy and Jake taking Calia's body as a vessel, Jake's family members ruining the ritual as they learned what Calia is up to, happy reunion without a horrible side effect, Satan or evil spirits intruding, etc. Of course you're welcome to have different ideas and making something completely different. I was just feeling like sharing my thoughts at the moment and it's always fun to get surprised by possibilities I never knew were there.

Oh my gosh! pfff lmao! i was also thinking on the Body swap bahahah as they say! great minds think alike! pff haha, but yeah that was one idea, the reason i was going to leave it ambigious with Calia just fainting maybe to get a better idea of what could be done haha, the other was that Jake's soul could only comeback in the night for now, and he was mute, so a filler was gonna be at place, featuring that other character that also wanted to say something to Calia, but she's to distracted to pay attention to him xD and Calia not satisfied would try more incantations! The first one sounds like a more comedy approach wich would be funny to experiment haha. But yeah your other ideas also sound interesting! Like the one where jake's family gets involved maybe even Calias family could get involved and both suspect something on Calia, or the other one of the spirits! If Calia could do this, there might just be more of those magical things out there haha

What could go wrong I wonder... Maybe they come back to life but only remember negative events.

The only good that has come of this is that Jake's looks have improved.
