@Razputin Yes, there is. Kind of. It's more behind-the-scene stuff than actual an story/lore for the character.

The markings are based off of an abstract doodle that I drew on Doodle or Die a very long time ago:

It depicts a figure meditating as colorful aura manifests and swirls around it.

Long after that one I drew the concept again with this one:

It depicts their character touching the aforementioned figure and she gets "infected with color" as another doodler puts it.

Another long span of time later I drew the color infection concept for a prompt:

It depicts one of my characters contracting the infection.

When I moved here I decided to canonize the markings as part of my avatar/persona's character design starting with this one:

As for what the markings are; Perhaps they're physical manifestations of his eldritch nature... or maybe it's because I just thought that they're neat and act as sort of a memento to the past.

@Liliana B Then you probably shouldn't if you're having second thoughts about this. Panels on PanelJam are permanent and you won't be able to delete them once they're posted so I suggest that you not post a panel that you know you'll regret down the line.

As for me; I participated because it's a passed jam and, as I've mentioned before, I don't turn them down. Plus I've participated in a similar jam in the past so I'm comfortable with this.

As for Raz; Well... his character has always been like that and he's also the one who started this jam so this isn't an issue for him either.
