Upon realizing it was timed, I learned that by refreshing the page and not submitting, I could retry and actually complete the panel. Despite this helpful trick, I still could not manage to simplify my idea enough or draw quick enough in the 90 seconds. I about gave up trying after 12 retries, but accidentally submitted the last one instead of closing out the NSFW window 😅
I almost had the pot, plate and spilled food down to 30 seconds where I was satisfied with them, but the characters I could not get even remotely close to match yours. Even in this simplest of styles, you both did awesome work illustrating action, expression, pose, and perspective; I find that fascinating :)
aw shucks paino, i'm glad you worked hard tho!
if you wanna draw better and faster i recommend trying to draw with pen only on some paper, lets you focus less on mistakes and it's good for improving speed and precision
I’ll do just that, @Chumky! It makes sense, I do hesitate with my drawings, lots of undoing, ha ha, guessing this speed and precision practice will help me lay down lines with greater confidence. Your advice is greatly appreciated ☺️
