The use of black text bubbles is so cool, really gives the impression of a murky jumble of words escaping the frogman’s mouth 😁 Not sure if this is something common in comic books, I’ve never really read much, but I’d imagine it’s a pro technique for sure.
@Painovoima it's pretty common afaik (I don't exactly remember where I borrowed this variation from but it was not my idea)

I’ll get to reading and practicing some more, always felt like good to practice styles of others; panel layout variations, text bubbles, facial expressions, background and foreground and poses are some of what I’m experimenting with now 👍
