no magic wand is fine but YOU CAN'T PAINT BUCKET INSIDE OF SHAPES???
Arf, I feel your pain, but the only way I know *that you probably already discovered* is to get a colour first then change that colour to whatever you want. not really better but its something
Welcome to StripTogether! We used to have a proper paint bucket tool, but about a month ago I rebuilt the entire drawing engine to provide higher quality drawing and compatibility for all devices...unfortunately, the one trade off I had to make was that the paint bucket now works like a “recolor” tool rather than a flood fill... I should come up with a new icon for the tool to avoid confusion, sorry about that!
Right, I think the way people are meant to use the tool is to paint the background with a contrasting color, over it you draw the sketch of your drawing (including the classic Plus Sign on the face), and add all the stuff over it. When you're done, you use the tool to paint everything the same color as the sketch, which will hide the sketch and give you a clean picture where only what you painted over the sketch shows. For people that use that technique, anyway.
