Fantastic Voyage to Jon Arbuckle's sideburn was an idea that occurred to me a while ago. I just recently discovered "I'm sorry Jon". It's pretty fun and crazy stuff if you're into a monstrous Garfield tormenting Jon.
The second compartment should have him also saying, "This is a one way mission." or something like that. I think it would give the dialogue a better flow. It would resolve the dialogue from the first compartment and build the tension that would better justify Rita's fear.
@WizardCroissant who are these people? are they original characters ? and what's with Jon's sideburn? I'd love to add the next panel but I don't understand any of the reference apart from the " I'm sorry Jon " meme
They're just two 50s sci-fi types thrown into a "Fantastic Voyage" type scenario. I don't know why Jon Arbuckle's sideburn popped into my head one day but once it did, I figured there'd be some creepy shit going on in there.
