Prompt: draw in chepley's style xP
I think i did okay, i was really doubting myself at first
And I once again try my best :)
I gave it a try.
Looks better than my 1st try I scrapped days ago~
Had to make it more human so I had more detail to stylize.
T-that's impossible! I am nowhere near that level!
awh! haha SluggishFella knows how it is with the mouth and the hands and the trailing off lower case speeches in rectangleview... wonderful hhhheh! nobody asked for this but I'mma put... what chemplog do recentele: desaturated color background, construction shapes, desaturated color background again over the top to fade the construction lines real faint, then one continuous silhouette line around everything to separate negative and positive space. minimal lines inside the silhouette to fill in detail that the silhouette does not communicate... Then, (then) for each separate object or character, picking their most prominent color and filling in their whole silhouette with a desaturated version of that color at half opacity so it colors over the lines (illegal!) and mixes with the background color. then, adding all the other desaturated colors on top also at half opacity so they mix with all the colors underneath... then uhh adding half opacity eye whites then full opacity irises then full opacity white glint biting into the irises.. ow... then if the mouth is open it'll be a dark color underneath with whatever's inside applied as strokes of low opacity color layering up towards the front of the mouth kinda thing... tada! is checklee stylaroo
Yeah, I notice your layering with desaturated colors. I couldn't bring myself to try and emulate that style. You're just too good at it. @Chepley
Woh! I like the shading and unbroken silhouette look, WizardCroissant! the segmented seam features on the arms and body shape is very cheppl huh... the mouth speaka chepley language too! neat how on these jams we're seeing the styles mix and make cool effects I think
Ultimately, I find it hard not to have my own style or technique slip in.

I tried to Chepley my panel up a little more.
yuwww! I think you spotted everything a chep would do and included it, Nephtys! and then boosted it with your own techniques too! the eyes that are a muted white with the top lash most prominent, brows that are colored in shapes, a nose with a bridge that goes waaay up too! you got the sidemouth going with the painted layered features that's very part of the look huh. and the bits of shadow around the brow, nose and lip... yeaaaah! I like.
Hahaha, think I'd have to make a few tries before I get the hang of it! Then again, your style is really unique and awesome looking so I might never be able to copy it. °○°
genius, WreckTangle! I got a drawing going in a window under paneljam and as I alt-tab between, its like flip-o-rama between the wip and your panel with the way you've got the face! I like the volume you've added to the hair with it sticking out around the front its like extra depth going on woa... and your own influence with the cool clothing crumple look! chembus taking notes here on all of these honestly...
aa thanks! I think your art style is truly inimitable though, i usually consider myself decent at replicating art styles but i had a hard time with this one and it still doesn't look all that great xD I really love how unique your art style is though, it's so fun and just wonderful to look at
hoh! the finale... Jyke and Rednightlights, putting the color background then working up it ends up with such soft color huh! I like!
Rednightlights, the way you've got the irises meeting the top lid is a very chill n natural look and works well with the radical horizontal glint I reckon. also the defined nose there with the bridge goin way high is definitely it, too! not to mention the kind of 'ee-shh' looking smile what a good smile. it is the smile for all situations I do reckon.
Jyke The Person, I like your choice of the greyish reddish... what would you call that... its almost parchment type thing? the brown giving it the warm color feel? and then having that come through in the colors on top, ah! nailed the colors, chembel tones definitely. those are great polygonal silhouette type lines and the square features in the hands. you kept the detail minimal where the silhouette tells the story too! neeat ah
you all can chepley easy peasy!
Ah Shucks!
:] *thumbs up* On the minimal silouettes I feel I copied the style withouth really understanding why. Overall just loads of referensing.
