@KringlePringles @SpaceMattress This is something I have been wanting to bring up and is the perfect chance. One thing I would like to see sincere users here do is when people attempt to subvert Jams, instead of going along with vandalism panels or working the subversions into the remainder of the Jam, skip it and continue like nothing happened, and use the ability to make sequels to continue. The way this site is set up there's no reason a spam panel should ever have any impact on a series in the least, unless it's allowed to by the people continuing. You literally have infinite sequels that can be made. (By the way I am not saying don't call it out, but I am saying don't let it impact the Jam. This site is actually set up pretty good for ignoring interruptions and getting on with the story.)

Damn, I missed this part. I should've participated sooner. I wasn't aware a new sequel was up until now. Also, I agree with what TFD just said. I've experienced something like this before in one of my jam series and did just that. In regards to making a sequel for this, Derren doesn't seem to mind as long as it's a sincere follow-up. Two of his jam series had different OPs before and he participated on those as if they were part of the canon. Should he not like a sequel another have made, he will usually make a separate sequel branch of his own and continue from there.
As for waiting for him to return; He'll probably come back eventually. Maybe it will take days, weeks or even months from now but he always returns to post and continue his jams. After all, he's been here on PanelJam longer than all of us have (as far as I know). By that I mean the ones who have participated on this jam and those who have posted on this comment section as of the typing of this post.
Yes, Sean's right, I think Derren would actually be more delighted to come back and find some nice new material than not. I been considering sequeling his Spy Foxette series in fact but have been too busy to give it a proper think!
